CSR policies are therefore becoming more and more popular, and Employer Mobility Plans (EMP) are part of those. They can be defined as a set of mobility management measures carried out by a company to promote and favor a more sustainable mobility by encouraging employees to choose alternative mode of transport to join their workplace. That means replacing single car occupancy (SCO) practices by greener transportation modes as carpooling, bicycles, trains, buses, etc. Therefore, the aim of this research is to offer a concrete methodology to build EMPs, and to apply it on the company “Trafic” headed in Belgium. A structured methodology has been found, consisting in different steps. Following those steps, two interesting alternatives to SCO to promote have emerged in Trafic’s case: bicycling and carpooling. Then, a change management plan is developed to decide which measures to implement for the promotion of those alternatives.EMPEmployer Mobility PlanSustainabilityMobilityWorkplaceCommutingHow to build an Employer Mobility Plan for sustainable purposes?
