Drawing on DiMaggio and Powell's (1983) concept of institutional isomorphism, the study investigates three primary forms of isomorphic pressures, coercive, normative, and mimetic, that emerge from accreditation standards. A qualitative research design is adopted relying on 17 semi- structured interviews with senior leaders from AMBA, EQUIS, and AACSB-accredited business schools.Institutional TheoryAccreditationsIsomorphismIsomorphic Pressures and the Quest for Legitimacy: The Case of Business School Accreditationstext::thesis::master thesis
