- Abstract
- This master's thesis presents a comprehensive analysis of the business plan for a specialized organic vegetable farm in Kinshasa. The study is structured around three fundamental pillars: strategic viability, financial robustness, and operational resilience. The main contributions include a hybrid economic model combining direct sales, stable contracts, and exports, optimized cost structure with 65% controlled variable costs, and frugal innovation through the progressive integration of appropriate technologies. Key results show a 23.5% IRR, capital recovery period of 2.9 years, and a stabilized gross margin of 63% by the third year. The study confirms the strong demand for local organic products, scalability of the model, and effectiveness of the measures against identified major risks. Recommendations for immediate priorities include the implementation of a solar irrigation system and recruitment of an export manager, with long-term perspectives focusing on franchise deployment and vertical integration with a processing unit.
