Abstract
Computing has become a ubiquitous field in our world and its learning methods are multiple, diverse and varied. Numerous courses online are available for free access and anyone can follow them in order to acquire new knowledge. When you take an online course, you may find yourself left to your own devices and lost. Since the material and exercises may all be accessible, we do not know necessarily with which chapter to start or one does not know the links that exist between chapters. This can be a problem: the course syllabus is linear and does not adapt to the specifics of the student following it. The order exercises has been predefined by the course designer. Even if it leaves access to the various concepts studied, no recommendation is made to ensure that the student has mastered these concepts before allowing access to an subject considered to be more advanced. This is why this thesis proposes a new extension to the INGInious online course platform, developed at UCLouvain, in order to establish a specific course of study for each student. This is adapted to the level of mastery of the subject matter and to the student's successes and failures at different. This allows the exercise course to be unique for each one and to accompany the student in his learning of computer sciences.
