Abstract
Currently highly publicized and politicized, the Venezuelan crisis leaves people perplexed. Between myth and reality, this current work aims to analyse the crisis that Venezuela has been experiencing for years. It tends to determine the factors that caused the crisis, which are partly due to the structure of the economy but also to the oil price situation, whose economy is closely linked. Recommendations and modest solutions have been put forward to try to get this country, which has enormous potential, out of the crisis.
