Abstract
This paper evaluates in the long-run the pension reform that increased the retirement age in Belgium. Different projections of dependency ratios are computed in order to observe the impact of the reform on the sustainability of the Belgian pension system. Then, other policies are taken in account such as activation policies and the decrease of the replacement rates. Finally, projections are made based on a policy mix. The main conclusion is that the increase of the retirement age to 67 is not enough to maintain a sustainable system.
