Abstract
Contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CECT) is a promising technique for three-dimensional imaging of soft biological tissues, but its development remains limited by the slow and heterogeneous diffusion of CESAs within dense extracellular matrices. In this context, this master’s thesis investigated the respective effects of ultrasound exposure and cyclic elevated temperature on the diffusion of Hf-WD 1:2 polyoxometalate (POM) within porcine aortic tissues. To achieve this objective, a new experimental platform capable of independently regulating ultrasound activation cycles and bath temperature was developed and experimentally validated.
