- Abstract
- The study examines work motivation from a cross-country perspective, and its purpose is to investigate whether the cultural dimensions, jointly with the state of economic development, can affect a population’s levels of work motivation. In order to investigate this impact, four regression analyses were conducted. In the four models, the dependent variables were best predicted by a mixture of economic and cultural indexes. The results showed that national levels of work motivation are shaped by the country’s socio-economic context.
