Abstract
This master’s thesis aims to explore how students and more experienced workers experience intergenerational collaboration within an organic retail organization in Belgium. Adopting a qualitative case study approach, the research is based on 13 semi-structured interviews conducted within a single organizational context. The study focuses on employees lived experiences rather than relying solely on predefined generational categories. Its objective is to identify the key factors that influence collaboration across age groups. More specifically, the research examines how elements such as communication styles, work values, experience, and adaptation to change shape both the opportunities and challenges of intergenerational collaboration. Ultimately, the study seeks to provide practical insights that can help organizations better manage age diversity and improve teamwork
