- Abstract
- This thesis evaluates VINCI Energies’ internal innovation support systems and derives actionable recommendations to improve their functioning. Specifically, the study focuses on three types of systems: idea management systems, innovation labs, and corporate incubators. It begins with a literature review that defines each system, their scope of application, their pros and cons, and their key success factors. These theoretical insights are then compared to VINCI Energies’ practices, based on six semi-structured interviews and document analysis, to assess the degree of alignment between literature and practice. Finally, the thesis formulates four targeted recommendations to help the company enhance the impact of its internal innovation efforts. These recommendations stem from the key gaps identified between theoretical best practices and current implementations.
