Abstract
This master thesis presents the design process, the fabrication as well as the testing of a microwaves learning kit. This kit is aimed to help students visualize the adaptation of a transmission line on a Smith chart, through the use of a Vector Network Analyzer. This didactic material can be used for laboratories as well as for demonstration during lectures. Only passive circuits are taken into account. The system is designed to allow the line adaptation operation to be performed in real time. First, an analysis of the mechanical and electrical constraints is realised. After that, all the manufacturing processed is review. Lastly, the system is measured in order to perform a characterisation of the different elements.
