Abstract
The reception of an artifical signal by the VLBI network in order to localize the source has existed for a few decades. Nevertheless it is only recently that a satellite in low orbit was equipped with a transmitter dedicated to this technique. This mission, named APOD, could be located with a precision of about ten centimeters. This thesis proposes a feasibility study of the technology in order to be able to estimate the accuracy of the satellite location, whatever its orbit. A Matlab program to simulate the observations was made based on already developed models. Based on the results obtained, this thesis proposes a system study of a broadband VLBI transmitter to finalize the feasibility study.
