Abstract

enIn the realization of esthetically sophisticated and innovative buildings, a system is used more in recent years, the diagrid system. This structural system is an external bracing system whose columns are inclined. This memory compares the robustness between a diagrid system and a columns-beams system during an exceptional event like a fire. First, both structures are sized. They are made with steel and have a height greater than 100 m. Then, the modeling of the structures using ABAQUS software is explained and the simulations are realized. Finally, OZone software is used to determine if the fire can generate temperatures that can reach the critical temperature of the columns.
