Abstract
enThis thesis analyzes the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the sustainability of consultants’ careers, focusing on mental health and job satisfaction. Based on nine semi-structured interviews, the study highlights ambivalent effects: while AI offers increased efficiency and cognitive relief, it also raises ethical concerns, fears of dependency, and heightened organizational expectations. The findings also reveal variations across career stages, from the search for legitimacy to strategic repositioning and knowledge transfer. These dynamics are interpreted through the sustainable careers model and lead to concrete recommendations for the ethical and long-term integration of AI in the consulting sector.
