Abstract
Digital sovereignty has become a crucial point for policymakers, industry leaders and scholars in an era marked by geopolitical rivalries centred on technology. This master’s thesis focuses on the concept of digital strategy within the EU and how it relates to its competitive position against China and the US in the ICT sector. The study of the technological, research, and institutional challenges faced by the EU will bring insights into the complexity of digital sovereignty and its implications for EU interests.
