- This dissertation examines the place actually accorded to the adversarial principle in the procedure for granting temporary absences and prison leave. Through an analysis that is both legal and empirical, (based on testimonies from field workers), the author highlights the inconsistencies in the current system. This rigorous work paves the way for pragmatic solutions to promote fairer prison justice.
