- Abstract
- This thesis aims to study the current situation of NGOs in Belgium in order to understand what role they play in the implementation of SDG12 and, conversely, how the SDGs (and in particular SDG12) can impact the activities of Belgian NGOs. To do so, this thesis is composed of a theoretical part that aims to contextualise the subject of NGOs and SDGs by highlighting what has already been published by the scientific world, both at the global and Belgian levels, and a practical part aiming to confront theory with reality and to understand in greater depth the ins and outs of NGO activities in relation to sustainable consumption and production. To do this, this practical part is based on the testimonies of some twenty Belgian NGOs, all of which are focused on responsible consumption and production in one way or another, but of very different sizes and sectors.
