Abstract
The world of work as we know it is changing faster than never before. Mega trends such as the digitalisation, globalization, climate change, technological and demographic changes are bringing new challenges in terms of the right training and education that the employees needs. One thing is sure: the employees will need to change and adapt constantly in their work life as the world of work will have constant changes that will be fast and abrupt. A person's education does not stop once he finishes his formal studies. More and more companies realize that to adapt to the new world of work they need to invest more in lifelong learning activities for their employees. This thesis aims to contribute to the highlight the key success factors in lifelong learning activities at companies’ level. I will put together data from the scientific literature but also data purchased from companies.
