Abstract

enBorn in 2006, the TV-show Kaamelott was created by Alexandre Astier. It has had so much sucess that there are now hundreds of episodes, a dozen comics and is now favoured by the big screen. In this thesis, the way in which Astier summons the Arthurian myth (from the knights of the Round Table to the Quest for the Holy Grail) to compose a parodic work that funny and thought-provoking at the same time will be analysed.
