Abstract
In the past, there were various motivations to establish a multilateral trading system. One of them was to maintain the peaceful relations among countries (after experiencing two world wars) aiming to increase their prosperity. In recent period, the world trade system is confronted with number of challenges, including the pandemic COVID-19, instable global security environment, new breakthrough technologies, considerable changes in global climate, and new Trump´s government provoking the disruption of existing global trade system. In the light of this development, the need of the World Trade Organization´s (WTO) reform, is even more inevitable. It was also my motivation to deal with this highly discussed topic in my work and explore the need and the relevance of this reform for the future.
