- Abstract
- With the growing popularity of mobile devices, it is becoming increasingly important to focus on evaluating the quality of graphical user interfaces on these mobile services, particularly the aesthetics of these user interfaces. Therefore, to be able to assess this kind of subjective characteristics, it is necessary to carry out user research in order to collect data. And this with the goal to improve the overall understanding of the subject, notably by means of machine learning. So, the main objective of this thesis is the development of various microservices for supporting online evaluations on graphical user interfaces of mobile devices. We integrated the microservices into the UiLab platform, a Workbench for Conducting and Replicating Experiments in GUI Visual Design. However, this work focuses on the microservices for sending experiments and not on other subjects such as the management of participants which is nevertheless an essential component of the overall theme. Therefore, the current version is not yet marketable but is intended to be improved and to gain further new features in the mid-term.
