Abstract
Home and building automation systems became more and more relevant for several years. Such systems may include all possible and imaginable additive modules to automate buildings as the owner wants. For about 20 years, Domintell creates cutting-edge solutions to include inside buildings. Among all of products, one of them is a videophone. However, this module has received lot of complaints from customers due to this operating mode. Indeed, this product only allows one people to talk at the moment while the other is listening. This work reforms the actual solution into a friendlier operating mode where both peoples can talk together. In order to achieve that, it is required to understand what is behind the signal processing and the underlying technologies used. It exists a complete state of the art of building solution on embedded device. This work browses the entire used framework at Domintell for building the new version of videophone module. Once all the knowledge are gathered, a solution is developed and tested in order to prove its efficiency.
