Abstract
This thesis focuses on the development of a Python-based tool to analyze and visualize changes in European natural gas flows between 2019 and 2023, highlighting the impact of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. By leveraging data from the ENTSOG Transparency Platform and other sources, the tool automates data collection, processing, and visualization to provide interactive insights into country-level flows, inter-country exchanges, and LNG imports. The results demonstrate the tool's effectiveness in exploring complex energy data while identifying areas for improvement, offering a valuable resource for understanding Europe's evolving energy landscape.
