enThis thesis is an analysis of the impacts of fraud and theft for e-commerce and recommerce platforms, the contrast between these two types of platforms will be made and the analysis will compare the measures adopted for both type of platforms regarding fraud and theft as well as the impact on long-term business sustainability.
