Abstract
This current study examines the representation of social actors in the report Nunca Más. It aims to explore how victims and perpetrators are shaped by linguistic mechanisms in a specific type of context and discourse, mainly in testimonies. The study addresses three analytical perspectives, which offer an articulated view on social actors. First, it proposes a descriptive analysis of social actor representation on the basis of Theo van Leeuwen’s framework. Social actor representation is then analysed through two complementary approaches: agentivity and subjectivity.
