- Abstract
- The Consortium des Équipements de Calcul Intensif (CÉCI) is a consortium that organizes the sharing of high-performance computing facilities and resources among five French-speaking universities in Belgium. To manage the access rights of researchers in the consortium to clusters of CÉCI’s partner universities, a web application called Relog was created ten years ago. However, the evolution of web technologies and the needs of the universities have changed. The objective of this thesis is to improve and add new features to this application in order to keep it up-to-date and in accordance with the new needs of CÉCI. This work covered three contributions to the application. The first was to allow the application to handle new types of projects. The second was the development of a tool to generate reports based on demographic information extracted from the application database. The last was an application security analysis covering common types of security threats.
