Abstract

Medical image registration is a very active field which has led to the creations of many software solutions. The most comprehensive one being the insight segmentation and registration toolkit (ITK) and software created around it such as elastix. Despite a large amount of research and development done in the field, there are very few solutions that focus on usability. We present a web application which performs image registration using the elastix toolbox. In this thesis, we detail every aspect of our solution, from the design thinking process used to find the initial web application idea to the technical choices made during its development.
