Abstract
It is a commonsensical notion that a cause always precedes its effect. However, an experiment of quantum physics seems to show that backwards causality is possible. Hence, we end up with an incompatibility between common sense and science. With the philosophy of Wilfrid Sellars, who distinguishes between the manifest and the scientific images of the world, I propose a philosophical discussion concerning the alignment of the causal with the time's arrow, through the philosophy of causality and the mysterious quantum eraser experiment.
