- Abstract
- In a highly competitive Belgian market, comparing insurers' premium policies for MTPL Insurance is a key challenge. However, the variety of a posteriori ratemaking rules makes this assessment tricky. In this thesis, we develop a comprehensive framework to compare the optimality of the Bonus-Malus scales available on the market. Based on state-of-the-art optimal relativities theory, we apply this framework to some of the biggest players in Belgium. Finally, the numerical results are presented and discussed in order to establish a basis of comparison for the models encountered.
