- Airports are transportation platforms shared between different parties. All of them have their own objectives to pursue. In this context, they need to do some Collaborative decision-making (CDM) to optimize airport operations and each party's benefits. This thesis aims at developing a tool in support to CDM: an agent-based model aiming to simulate aircraft ground handling tasks. Agent-based modeling is a computational modeling paradigm that aims to study the behaviour of complex systems with computer simulations. The general observed phenomena are consequences of individuals decision-making at the lowest scale. This Master thesis aims at developing this type of model, focusing on all the processes that are performed on an aircraft between the time it arrives at the stand and the time it leaves it. The model should be used as a tool to answer two main objectives. They are to derive confidence intervals on the time the aircraft will leave the stand, and to provide a tool to simulate the realisation of some strategies for decision-making.
