- Abstract
- This master's thesis evaluates the accuracy of pressure insoles equipped with inertial measurement units in extracting gait parameters by comparing them those obtained with force plates embedded in an instrumented treadmill, seen as the reference system. It also explores the ability of the pressures insoles equipped with inertial measurement units to classify locomotor and postural activities using machine learning methods. These two objectives aim to facilitate accurate and objective monitoring of post-stroke rehabilitation in real-life conditions, as part of the broader research framework initiated by the ActiStroke project of the NMSK Lab within the Institute of Experimental and Clinical Research (IREC, UCLouvain).
