Abstract
This thesis is the result of two projects carried out within the migration section of the Rosa Parks Legal Clinic for Human Rights. The first project was to prepare and conduct interviews with asylum seekers in order to get them ready for their first interview with the Immigration Office. The second project was our participation in the ‘All-European International Humanitarian and Refugee Law Moot Court Competition’ in Ljubljana, where we represented UCLouvain for the first time with Anaë Lejeune and Clara Jousten. To round off these two practical experiences, we focused on three current issues encountered in the Moot Court case in order to examine them in greater depth and relate them to a concrete situation. This thesis is therefore the result of an enriching experience carried out in collaboration with the Belrefugees association and teamwork around this moot court in refugee law and international humanitarian law.
