Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to optimize the supply chain of the Lhoist Network in Malaysia, and to make a recommendation about how Lhoist Malaysia should evolve their supply chain. In the first part a short situation is presented. It shows the many changes Lhoist had in Malaysia over the last months. The thesis then identifies how such optimizations are usually realized. In the appendix, one of the methods is applied on the business case in Lhoist Malaysia. In conclusion, the thesis argues that Lhoist should adapt its supply chain in Malaysia and recommends an investment in a larger facility.
